- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup buttermilk (dissolve 1/2 tsp. baking soda in buttermilk)
Directions

1Melt margarine, add cocoa and stir until dissolved.

3Bring to a boil.

4Remove from heat and set aside.

5Beat eggs.

6Add sugar (beat) then flour, 1/2 cup oil, buttermilk, and vanilla.

7Mix well.

8Pour into oblong baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

9Frost while hot.
