- 3 c. plain flour
- 5 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 sticks (6 oz.) whipped margarine (I use Chiffon)
- 1 c. Crisco Puritan oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream together margarine, oil and sugar.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Add flour and milk alternately, beginning and ending with flour.

4Stir in vanilla. Reserve 1/2 cup batter for icing.

5Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300° in lightly greased and floured tube pan.
