Ingredients
- 5 to 6 c. flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 c. hot tap water
- 1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
Directions

1Combine 2 cups of flour, yeast and salt in large bowl.

2Stir well to blend.

3Add molasses and butter.

4Add hot tap water.

5Beat with electric mixer at medium for 2 minutes.

6Add 1 more cup of flour.

7Beat at high speed for 1 minute or until dough is thick and elastic.

8Stir in oats.

9Gradually stir in just enough flour to make soft dough.

10Turn onto floured board.

11Knead 5 to 10 minutes.

12Cover with plastic wrap or towel.

13Let sit 20 minutes on board.

14Punch down and divide in half.

15Shape into loaves; let rise.

16Bake at 375° for 35 to 45 minutes.

17Can refrigerate dough from 2 to 24 hours.
