- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light molasses
- 1 Tbsp. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- pastry (recipe follows)
- whipped cream (optional)
- pecan half (optional)
Directions

1Beat eggs at medium speed of an electric mixer until thick and lemon colored.

2Add sugar and next 4 ingredients; beat until blended.

3Stir in chopped pecans. Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

4Let cool completely.

5Garnish with whipped cream and a pecan half, if desired.
