Ingredients

  • 1 (32 oz.) pkg. pink beans or 6 small cans pinto beans
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 lb. brick chili
  • 2 cans Chef Boyardee spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 3 or 4 Tbsp. chili powder
  • salt, pepper, garlic salt, savory salt, etc.
  • 1 large onion

Directions

    Cook beans in salted water (soak overnight or 1 hour in boiling water with tight lid) about 2 hours, until tender.

    (Omit this step if using canned beans.)
