Mom'S Deviled Crab

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 stalks celery, minced
  • 2 onions, chopped fine
  • 1 green pepper, chopped fine
  • 12 slices white bread, toasted or not
  • 1 lb. claw crabmeat
  • yellow mustard
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Tabasco
  • salt, pepper and celery salt
  • milk (use to add moisture)

Directions

    Saute vegetables until soft in melted butter.

    Crumb the bread in a blender or processor.

    Mix all ingredients in a large bowl (use hands if necessary!).

    Add mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lots of salt, pepper and celery salt (and a dash of Tabasco). Shape and place in crab shells.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 10 minutes, or until hot.
