- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 3/4 c. oil
- 7 c. flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 sticks oleo
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Add sugar, salt, eggs, oil and 3 1/2 cups flour; beat well.

3Gradually add rest of flour.

4Knead well. Let rise until doubled (about 2 hours).

5Knead again a few times. Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness on floured surface and cut like dumplings.

6Dip each piece into melted oleo and drop into tube pan helter skelter (use 2 tube pans or can use cake pans).

7Let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).

8Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes. Delicious.
