- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
Directions

1Combine milk, 1/2 cup butter, sugar and salt in a saucepan. Heat until butter melts.

2Cool to 105° to 115°.

3Add yeast, stirring until dissolved.

4Place flour in a large bowl.

5Add milk mixture and stir until well blended.

6Cover and let rise in warm place (85°) free from drafts, about 1 hour and 20 minutes or until doubled in bulk.

7Roll into 1 1/2-inch balls.

8Dip each in melted butter.

9Layer balls of dough in a 10-inch one-piece tube pan or Bundt pan.

10Cover and let rise about 45 minutes or until doubled in bulk.

11Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.

12Cool in pan 5 minutes.

13Invert onto serving plate.

14Yields one 10-inch loaf.
