  • 8 slices white bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
  • pinch of black pepper
  • turkey breast, sliced
  • 4 slices cooked ham
  • 4 slices swiss cheese
  • prepared mustard
  • butter for frying
  • raspberry or strawberry jam, for dipping (optional)
  • powdered sugar, for dipping (optional)

    Cut crusts from bread.

    Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper.

    Dip bread slices in mixture.

    Drain.

    Arrange some thin slices of turkey on four bread slices.
