Monte'S Strawberry Pie

   Mix cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, rind and cream.

   Cream together until a whipped cream consistency.

   Line pie shell with cream cheese mixture and fill with fresh whole ripe strawberries. Cover with strawberry glaze.

   Make glaze by mashing strawberries with 1 cup sugar.

   Let stand 30 minutes.

   Mix with cornstarch and cook until thick and clear.

   Pour over pie and refrigerate.

   Top with Cool Whip before serving.
