- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 c. bran cereal
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. oil or applesauce
- 4 eggs
- 4 c. buttermilk
- 4 c. oatmeal
- 5 c. plain flour
- 5 Tbsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Boil water and add bran cereal.

2Let set while mixing sugar and oil together.

3Stir in eggs and add buttermilk and oatmeal. Add flour, soda and salt; mix thoroughly.

4Now, add the water and cereal mixture that has been sitting.

5Bake in muffin tins at 400° for 14 minutes.

6Store remaining recipe in sealed container in refrigerator and use as desired.
