- 1 c. chopped raw potatoes
- 1 c. chopped raw carrots
- 1 c. chopped raisins
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. raisins
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar; add vanilla and egg and beat well. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.

2Add to creamed mixture alternately with the milk.

3Fold in raisins.

4Fill greased custard cups or muffin tins 2/3 full.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

6Serve warm with the orange sauce below.
