Cool Whip; 1 small box vanilla instant pudding; 1 c. milk; 2 c. coconut; 3 c. sifted all-purpose flour; 2 tsp. baking powder; 1 tsp. salt; 1 c. butter (at room temperature); 2 c. sugar; 4 eggs (at room temperature); 1 c. milk (at room temperature); 1 tsp. vanilla; 1 c. very finely chopped black walnuts

3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter (at room temperature)
2 c. sugar
4 eggs (at room temperature)
1 c. milk (at room temperature)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. very finely chopped black walnuts

Sift the flour with the baking powder and salt. Set aside. Cream the butter and sugar very hard until silvery and light.

Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
