Ingredients

  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 2 (14 oz.) pkg. Baker's coconut
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 bar paraffin wax
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Mix all the ingredients together, except paraffin wax and chocolate chips.

    Pat to desired thickness on a greased (butter) cookie sheet.

    Place in the refrigerator for several hours to chill.

    Cut into small squares or rectangles.

    In microwave oven in a large glass bowl, melt the paraffin wax, then add chocolate chips.

    Stir until melted.

    Using a toothpick, dip bars of coconut into the chocolate mixture and place onto wax paper to set.

    You may place in the refrigerator to cool.

    If the melted wax and chocolate chips mixture becomes thick, you may put back into the microwave for a few seconds to make thinner.
