Ingredients

  • 4 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. water
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/3 c. wheat germ
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. sesame seed
  • 1/4 c. molasses
  • 3 Tbsp. nonfat powdered milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt

    Mix all ingredients until smooth.

    Pour into well-greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan and bake in preheated 300° oven for 1 hour or until bread starts to pull away from sides of pan.

    Cut in squares and let stand uncovered overnight to dry a little.

    Seal in plastic bag or wrap.
