  • 1/2 lb. margarine, melted
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. soda
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Sift together the sugar, flour and soda.

    Combine melted margarine, cocoa and boiling water.

    Pour over dry sifted ingredients.
  4. 4
    Beat quickly and add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Beat again.

    Bake in 10 x 15 1/2 cookie sheet pan for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.
