  • 1 orange
  • 24 cloves (embedded into orange)
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 liters unsweetened, natural apple juice

    Put all the spices (including the cloved orange) into the crock-pot.
