Ingredients

  • 1 c. warm water
  • 4 tsp. fast active dry yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 c. rolled oats
  • 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. wheat germ
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cardamon
  • 4 Tbsp. sourwood honey
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. dried apricots
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 4 1/2 c. Pillsbury bread flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • sesame seed
  • melted butter or margarine

Directions

    Snip apricots; put in a bowl with honey.

    Stir; let set.

    In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water; stir until dissolved. Add salt, sugar and baking powder; stir to dissolve.

    Add buttermilk, rolled oats and wheat germ; mix well.

    Let set 10 minutes.
