- 4 c. muscadines (about 2 lb.)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Directions

1Rinse muscadines.

2Remove skins from pulp and set aside.

3Do not throw away skins.

4Place pulp in heavy saucepan and bring to a boil.

5Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 5 minutes.

6Press pulp through sieve to remove seeds.

7Combine pulp and juice with skins and sugar.

8Add remaining ingredients and stir well.

9Pour in 9-inch unbaked pastry shell.

10Sprinkle crumb mixture on top.

11Bake at 400° approximately 40 minutes.

12Top with Cool Whip to serve.
