  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 -5 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 12 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 lb mushroom, quartered
  • 1 lemon, juice of

Directions

    Heat oil at medium-high and fry onions until brown, about 6 minutes.

    Reduce heat to medium and add next 5 ingredients.

    Fry for 1/2 minute.

    Add mushrooms and stir 6 minutes or until cooked.

    Add lemon juice.

    May be served hot or cold.
