Ingredients

  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 1 medium sliced onion
  • 4 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 lb. halved Snow White mushrooms
  • 1/2 lb. shiitake mushrooms
  • 1/2 lb. Portabella mushrooms
  • 1 can College Inn beef broth
  • 1/3 c. heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch

Directions

    In skillet, saute first four ingredients for 3 minutes on medium.

    Add mushrooms; cook for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Bring to a boil in pot, beef broth and cream; stir in cornstarch.

    Stir until thickens.

    Pour into mushrooms.

    Serve as a side dish or garnish the top of a steak or grilled boneless chicken breast.
