Mushroom Quiche

Ingredients

  • 2 (9-inch) pastry shells
  • 1 1/4 c. coarsely grated imported Swiss cheese
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. Bac*Os
  • 1/4 lb. or 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Directions

    Slice mushrooms and saute in margarine.

    Grate Swiss cheese, then place on the bottom of each pie shell.

    In bowl, mix eggs, flour, salt, milk and nutmeg and beat.

    Pour over cheese and add sauteed mushrooms.

    Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.

    Add Bac*Os.
