  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) beef broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 can (4-1/2 oz.) sliced mushrooms, undrained
  • 1/4 cup PLANTERS Slivered Almonds
  • 2 cups instant white rice, uncooked

    Melt butter in 2-qt.

    saucepan.

    Add onions; cook and stir until crisp-tender.

    Add broth, peas, mushrooms and almonds; stir.

    Bring to boil.
