- 1/2 lb. finely chopped mushrooms (food processor works best)
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
Directions

1Saute mushrooms in butter or margarine.

2Add sherry and thyme. Cook 8 minutes or more or until almost dry.

3In food processor or blender, combine mushroom mixture with cream cheese.

4Process until smooth.

5Place into crock and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

6Serve with crackers.

7Makes 1 1/2 cups.
