- 3/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced thick
- dash of lemon juice
- 1/2 stick butter
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 pkg. long grain and wild rice, cooked according to pkg.
Directions

1Sprinkle sliced mushrooms with lemon juice, then saute in butter until just tender (do not brown).

2Season with salt and pepper.

3Stir in sour cream; add nutmeg.

4Form prepared rice into a ring on a plate.

5Serve mushroom mixture inside ring.
