- 1 lb. (about 6 c.) sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
- dash of pepper
- 1 Tbsp. fresh or dry minced parsley
Directions

1In large skillet over medium-high heat, cook mushrooms in butter until almost tender, about 3 minutes.

2Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, mustard and pepper.

3Cook, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes.

4Sprinkle with parsley. Serve as a topping for grilled steak or as a savory side dish.
