- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric
- 3/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1 lb. green or yellow beans, well drained
Directions

1In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan, thoroughly stir together the sugar, flour, mustard, celery seed, salt and turmeric.

2Gradually stir in vinegar, keeping smooth.

3Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and boiling.

4Add beans, mix in gently.

5Cool.

6Refrigerate, covered, until flavors blend.
