Ingredients

  • 1 qt. small cucumbers or sliced large ones
  • 1 qt. sliced green tomatoes
  • 1 qt. small white button onions
  • 1 large cauliflower, cut small
  • 4 sweet green peppers, sliced fine
  • 4 qt. cold water
  • 2 c. salt
  • 1/2 pt. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. turmeric
  • 6 rounded tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 8 c. vinegar

    In sterile jars, pack with onions, cut into chunks.

    Add 1 part vinegar

    to 1 part water. Can add other vegetables such as hot peppers, green peppers, carrots (cut in chunks), celery, etc. Store in refrigerator.
