  • 9 medium cucumbers
  • 2 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 1/4 tsp. turmeric

Directions

    Soak cucumbers in salt water (1/2 cup) overnight.

    Take them out and cover them with boiling water and let set for three hours. Strip cucumbers and put into jar.

    Mix together vinegar, sugar, salt, celery seed, dry mustard and turmeric for sauce.

    Pour mixture over cucumbers and seal.

    Boil jars for 5 minutes.
