  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon extract
  • 1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/2 lb. red candied cherries, cut
  • 1/2 lb. green candied cherries, cut
  • 1/2 lb. red pineapple (candied)
  • 1/2 lb. green candied pineapple, cut
  • 4 c. pecans

Directions

    Cream margarine, sugar and eggs one at a time.

    Mix flour, nuts and candied fruit with the egg mixture.

    Put in tube pan in cold oven for 2 1/2 hours at 250°.
