My Lemon Pie

- 1 box lemon pie filling (jello)
- 2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs, separated
- 4 c. water
- 2 Pillsbury fold out pie crusts
Directions

1Mix sugar, cornstarch and lemon pie filling.

2Mix water and egg yolks.

3Add to pie filling.

4Put in double boiler and boil-cook slow, stirring often, until bubbly.

5Pour into baked pie shells. Beat egg whites for meringue.

6Bake at 400° until meringue is light brown.

7Makes 2 pies.
