  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • stick of oleo or butter
  • 1 can cherries in heavy syrup, peaches in heavy syrup or frozen strawberries
  • 1 c. sugar

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients together.

    Melt oleo or butter in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

    Pour the flour mixture on top of it. Add cherries, peaches or strawberries.

    Pour sugar over top.

    DO NOT STIR. Bake at 400° until brown.

    Cobbler like crust forms around front. Serve warm, plain or with ice cream.
