  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 (No. 3) can fruit cocktail
  • 1 tsp.vanilla
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. nutmeats

Directions

    Sift together the first 4 ingredients. Add the egg, fruit cocktail and vanilla.

    Mix well and pour into a large baking dish. Sprinkle the brown sugar and nutmeats on top.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cool and serve with whipped cream.
