Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 14 cup diced onion
  • 14 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 pint taco sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can refried beans
  • 10 34 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning mix
  • salt, to taste
  • 2 cups Velveeta cheese or 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • tortilla chips
  • lettuce
  • chopped tomato
  • sour cream

Directions

    Brown ground beef, onions, and green peppers in saucepan.

    Drain.

    Combine all ingredients except tortilla chips, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream in slow cooker.

    Cover.

    Cook on High 1 hour, stirring occasionally until cheese is fully melted.

    Pour into serving bowl and serve immediately with tortilla chips, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream, or turn to Low to keep warm and serve from cooker.
