- 3/4 lb. ground chuck
- 1/3 c. taco sauce
- 4 c. tortilla chips
- 2 c. shredded Monterey or Cheddar cheese
- dairy sour cream (optional)
- chopped tomatoes (optional)
- sliced ripe olives (optional)
Directions

1In 1 1/2 quart microwavesafe casserole, crumble ground chuck. Microwave on High power for 4 to 6 minutes or until meat is brown, stirring once.

2Drain fat.

3Stir in taco sauce.

4On 2 microwavesafe dinner plates, layer half of the tortilla chips, meat mixture and cheese.

5Cook each plate on High for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until cheese melts.

6Cook second plate of nachos while you serve the first.

7Serve with sour cream, tomatoes and olives if desired.
