Ingredients

  • 7 ounces butter
  • 3 ounces sugar
  • 6 ounces flour
  • 1 ounce cocoa powder
  • 2 ounces cornflakes
  • 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

    Soften butter to room temp and beat to a cream with sugar (I use a stand mixer). Add flour, cocoa powder. Add cornflakes and mix until broken up just a little.

    Put teaspoons of mix on greased baking tray or covered in baking paper. Bake for 15 mins at 175c/ 350F. Ice when cooled.

    In a medium bowl combine icing sugar, cocoa, vanilla & melted butter and mix. Slowly add the water a little at a time until nice and smooth. Top with a walnut half if you like.
