Ingredients
- brisket
- 20 garlic cloves
- package of Lipton onion soup mix
- 2 T ginger
- lots of onions
- 15 oz can tomato sauce
Directions

1Preheat to 400

2Trim fat from brisket

3Pour 1/3 can tomato sauce on bottom of pan

4Season fat side first: 10 crushed garlic cloves, 1 T ginger, 1/2 package onion soup

5Put fat side down and season other side as above

6Pour remaining tomato sauce on top

7Cover with heavy aluminum foil and cook for 45 minutes.

8Then, turn brisket over (fat side up).

9Add 4-5 sliced onions
-
10Cover with foil (change foil frequently) .and cook at 350 for 2 1/2 more hours.

11You could add water or more sauce if needed.
