  • 1 lb. hamburger (lean)
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 medium onion
  • dash of crushed red pepper (to taste)
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 (21 oz.) cans pork and beans

Directions

    Chop onion.

    Cook hamburger; remove all grease.

    Add beans, garlic powder, onion and red and black pepper.

    Simmer about an hour or until onion is tender.

    Serve over steamed rice (optional).
