  • 1 (8 oz.) almond paste or 12 oz. almond filling
  • 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 20 drops red food coloring (more or less)
  • 12 drops green food coloring (more or less)
  • 1/4 c. seedless red raspberry jam
  • 1/2 c. apricot preserves
  • 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

    Grease bottom of three 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pans and three wire racks.
