  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 egg
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 box powdered sugar, 1 lb.
  • 1 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. coconut

Directions

    Mix cake mix, 1 egg, butter, and 1 cup chopped nuts together and put into a 9 X 13 greased and floured pan.

    Mix 2 eggs, cream cheese, vanilla, coconut and a small amount of the powdered sugar. Spread over the first layer.

    Bake for 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven, sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped nuts over top and continue baking for 30 more minutes. Sprinkle reserved powdered sugar over top as soon as removed from oven.
