  • 1 box devil's food cake mix (with pudding in the mix)
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 stick butter/margarine, softened
  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix together devil's food cake mix, 3 eggs and butter/margarine.

    Pat in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Sprinkle top with pecans.

    Beat together cream cheese, 2 eggs, box confectioners sugar and vanilla until blended.

    Put on top of pecans.

    Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 35 minutes.
