- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 yeast pkg., dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Mix in saucepan the milk, shortening and sugar; heat to scalding point.

2Cool.

3Combine with the dissolved yeast, beaten eggs and salt, then mix in 2 cups of the flour.

4Let stand for 2 hours.

5Add in remaining 4 1/2 cups flour.

6Mix and knead well. Let rise, punch down and make into buns.

7Let rise again and bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
