- 2 c. fancy long grain rice
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Measure rice exactly and put in a fine mesh wire strainer. Under cold running water, rub rice against the sides of strainer until water comes out clear.

2Or put into a pan and wash with your hands changing water 4 times; drain.

3Put water and salt in 1 to 2 quart saucepan.

4Bring to a boil, add rice and bring to a boil for 1 minute and lower heat to medium-low.

5Cover and cook 25 minutes. Don't lift lid to peek.

6Use a plate if you don't have a lid. Remove from heat.

7Lift lid and fluff with a fork.

8Serve.
