- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. soft shortening
- 7 to 7 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Mix milk, sugar and salt.

2Add yeast.

3Stir in eggs and shortening.

4Add flour and knead to make soft dough.

5Let rise, then on lightly floured board, roll 1/4-inch thick.

6Cut out donuts.

7Let rise, fry and then glaze.
