  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup cooking oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup boiling water

Directions

    Sift flour and salt together into a small bowl.

    Make a well in the flour and add oil and egg.

    Add boiling water and mix well. Chill in refrigerator until ready to use.

    Knead in enough flour to roll out with rolling pin.

    Divide into 2 or 3 sections, roll out and cut into strips, one section at a time, with kitchen knife.

    Drop into boiling stock.

    Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

    Do not stir.

    They may be moved gently with fork.
