  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. snipped parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1 c. milk

    Sift flour,

    salt; add parsley and thyme. With pastry blender, cut in shortening until like very coarse corn meal. With fork, lightly mix in milk to form soft dough. Stir as little as possible.

    Drop dough by tablespoonfuls into boiling
