- 2 egg whites
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Boil cream of tartar, sugar and hot water until it spins a thread about 10 inches long.

2Beat 2 egg whites until stiff; add 2 tablespoons cold water and then add sugar.

3Pour syrup into egg white mixture and beat until it begins to grain or get stiff, then spread on cake.
