Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. sugar
- tart jelly
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

2Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.

3Add sugar gradually, beating constantly.

4Sift small amount of flour over egg mixture; fold in.

5Continue until all flour is used.

6Add vanilla.

7Line jelly roll pan with wax paper (bottom and sides).

8Pour in batter; spread evenly.

9Bake at 400° for 12 to 13 minutes.

10Remove cake to a damp cloth; spread on jelly and roll.

11Trim ends.

12Dust with powdered sugar.
