  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 3 egg whites
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Blend cornstarch and cold water in a pan. Add boiling water and cook until clear.

    Let stand until completely cool. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add sugar and beat until stiff, not dry.

    Turn mixer on low speed and gradually add cold cornstarch mixture, salt and vanilla. Turn mixer to high speed and beat well. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
