- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 3 egg whites
- pinch of salt
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 8-inch pie crust

1Moisten cornstarch with small amount of water.

5Beat the egg whites with pinch of salt until soft peaks form.

6Add sugar, one tablespoon at a time.

7Continue beating until high, firm peaks appear.

8Beat in cornstarch mixture; beat until just right for topping.
